Pavilosta is that lovely small town on the coast of Kurzeme with the beautiful beach where white sand interchanges with more stony places that lead to amber beach. Wind loves this place. Sailors and kite boarders love this place. We love this place. This is one of the rare places in Latvia where it’s even possible to surf! There is a small port at the mouth of river Saka where one can easily place their yacht.
Right there, on the river Saka, there are water sport possibilities. If you want to go fishing – on the pier you might have a good catch of flounder! In Pavilosta you can enjoy the view or lounge in the sun on our roof-terrace – captain’s view over everything, to the sea, you can feel like on a ship. By the way, the highest number of sunny days per year is exactly here, in Pavilosta! That’s according to statistics.
Afterwards you can go downstairs, spend some time in the yard, make a fire in the fire bowl and swim in the pool, just watch out that the crocodiles are fast asleep. You can fry the just caught fish in the outdoors kitchen, on the grill. You can also wander around the town, enjoy the nature and see the sunset.
If after spending the whole day at the seaside has made you tiresome, there is our lounge with a fireplace and sofas, piano and mini-library where you can read about faraway lands, travelling, adventures and alike. And our own kitchen – Café, where breakfasts are served in the mornings and where you can pamper yourself later. And sauna… for all times and states of mind! And the little ones feel good at our place.
